Founded in 2024 by executives who are making an impact on the environment, DTP`s vision is to support the ESG Agenda by being a technology driven company and building the largest tyre and plastic recycling business in Namibia.
We believe that reusing resources, not using limited resources (coal and oil) should be the highest priority. Technology and chemistry are fast changing, and the environment needs our help to grow and flourish. Expanded mining for raw materials wastes time and capital!
Our strategy, while new in Namibia is tried and tested worldwide:

Focus on technology, markets and developing supply chains.
Flexibility to produce various chemical products – adapting to evolving market requirements

The Problem
There has been a push worldwide for more recycling, and there has been some success in fields like plastic bags and glass bottles, this is not enough.
Africa is lagging behind in this area, with Scandinavia showing what is possible.
